Important

READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY, IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY INFORMATION:

A number of medical and psychiatric conditions can contraindicate participation in a ceremony, for example if you are taking anti-depressants or have a background of psychosis. It is also possible that your medical or psychological background is not a contraindication, but that conditions are set for your preparations / aftercare. You are always obliged to state medical and psychological details on the registration form, if you have not already done so, you must still do so. Safety is paramount. The plant brew contains an MAO inhibitor. What do you need to know about MAO inhibitors? When the plant tea is taken orally, it will be immediately broken down in the stomach by the enzyme Monoamine oxidase (MAO). For this reason, we drink an MAO inhibitor before taking the tea. An MAO inhibitor ensures that the enzyme Monoamine oxidase is temporarily shut down in the stomach and the tea extracts can be absorbed. During the ceremony we work with the plant combination Peganum Harmala (MAO inhibitor) and Jurema. MAO inhibitors must be used with great caution as they can in principle alter the effect of foods that are normally harmless. As a result, headaches, nausea and increases in blood pressure may occur. Below you will find the list of medications, drugs and nutrients that should be avoided before a ceremony with the corresponding time frame before and after the ceremony. NOTE: the list of medications & drugs does not include all remedies that do not accompany the tea, everything should be considered on a case-by-case basis as every situation is unique. A medical doctor carries out this assessment, his advice is followed at all times.

The purity in which you make your inner journey also depends in part on your own preparations. Food covers a part, but the days prior to the ceremony also take into account other forms of nutrition that you receive, such as the environment, people, what you look at, what you listen to. The list of foods to avoid does not mention sugars and spices, these are not a contraindication. Nevertheless, the advice is to minimize these products in order to be present in your own body as neutral as possible. A personal advice is not to eat meat, a week before the ceremony, to make your experience completely in your own energy. When you eat meat, you also eat the stress of the animal that has seen its slaughter coming.

And to preserve your body energy, sexual abstinence is recommended in the form of peak orgasms; ejaculation and clitoral orgasms.

ON THE DAY ITSELF

You are allowed to eat a light meal, as long as you ensure that you are sober at least 4 hours before the ceremony, so do NOT eat at least 4 hours before the ceremony starts. Drink extra water in advance, preferably a liter of water at the start of your day. You often drink less than usual during a ceremony. You help your body with water to release waste products and energetic discharge.

AFTER

There will be a light meal prepared for you and we have time to discuss your experience. The advice below is helpful to best integrate your post-ceremony experience:

  • Do not schedule busy appointments the day after the session.
  • You are even more open after the ceremony and everything can be intensely than usual.
  • It is advisable not to plan anything for at least one or two days after the ceremony.

It is absolutely of added value to take the time to integrate your experience into your daily life. You can do this by writing about it, sharing it with like-minded people, meditating and also being in nature and walking is a great help. Especially the days just after your ceremony. Be extra kind to yourself.

RESUME:

Always provide your medical / psychological details, even if these change between the time of registration and the ceremony itself. Refrain from the above nutrients and resources according to the time limits set. Undergoing a ceremony / inner journey requires dedication, it is not something you just do, so stick to the above. The preparations are not there for you alone, they are also there for the safety of your fellow travelers, guides and providers of planting ceremonies. Respect this. Questions or remarks?
